The Bhaja Govindam is composed by Adi Shankaracharya, one of the greatest apostles of Vedanta Philosophy. The book contains thirty-one verses. Famous for its powerful, uplifting and practical message, it points out the futility of searching for happiness in the external world, which consumes one's entire life. Instead, it directs one to the source of happiness lying in the core of the personality. It gives out basic instructions to lead a productive and stress-free life at home, work and in society. The book's message can help one to wake up from delusion and understand the true purpose of life : TO SEEK THE SUPREME SELF WITHIN.
